Session management
You can configure account dormancy settings and auto-logout settings in the Session management menu.
To navigate to session management, follow these steps:
- Login to Webex Engage and click the Try new version button on the top-right corner of the application.
The Webex Engage React application will launch. - Navigate to Settings > Security > Session management.
Dormant account
A user's account is dormant if the user does not log in to the application for a permissible number of days configured for account dormancy. Account dormancy makes the account inactive but does not restrict users from logging in to the application. The user's account is activated once the user logs in to the application.
Select a duration from the drop-down list, after which the user's account becomes dormant automatically. You can even select the Never option from the drop-down list to keep the user's account live.
Disable account
A user's account is disabled if the user does not log in to the application for a permissible number of days configured for account disablement. Once a user's account is disabled, an email is sent to the user alerting the account disablement. All team managers (of all the teams) of which the user is part are cc'ed in the email. Once a user's account is disabled, the user cannot log in to the application until the administrative user enables the account. You can disable a user for 30, 60, or 90 days. You can even make the user available 24*7 by selecting the Never option from the drop-down list.
Apply to
Select the required checkboxes under the To Apply section to choose the roles to which account dormancy and disablement settings are applicable. User accounts with only the roles you configured will be disabled or dormant based on the settings configured.
