Banned Customers

You can ban the IP addresses of abusive customers who contact the agent through the LiveChat channel.

Add New IP

To add a new IP, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to Customer Care Console > Settings > Banned Customers.
  2. Select LiveChat from the Channel drop-down list. The Asset drop-down list appears on the screen.
  3. Select an asset from the Asset drop-down list. The Website drop-down list appears on the screen.
  4. Select a website from the Website drop-down list.

  1. Click Add New button on the top-right corner of the screen.
    The following pop-up window appears.

  1. Enter Start IP Range, End IP Range, and Reason in the respective fields.
  2. Enter the banning reason in the Enter Reason text field. The maximum character limit for this field is 320 characters.
  3. Click Submit.
    The success message appears on the screen.

Edit IP

To edit an IP address, click Edit icon in the actions column of a specific IP address. Edit the required fields and click Save. The success message appears on the screen.

Delete IP

To delete an IP address, click Delete icon in the actions column of a specific IP address. The success message appears on the screen.
