Webex Engage expects the webhook to respond with a 200 OK HTTP status code upon sending the above event payloads. Any other HTTP status codes will result in a retry mechanism wherein the application will retry the request 3 times (in 10-second intervals). If the request continuously fails, necessary alarms are raised on the application monitoring system.
Warning
Please note that requests that do not succeed despite the retry mechanism kicking in are discarded and cannot be batch streamed at a later point in time. Kindly make sure that the relevant routing rules that involve the VA and asset configurations are re-looked at while your BOT undergoes maintenance or is down to avoid any operational impact.
